Conjuctivitis: It's likely conjunctivitis or "pink eye". As long as there is no visual change, try warm compresses 10 min three times a day. If not improving in a few days take him to a doctor to be checked out. He may need antibiotic drops. If there is any visual disturbances take him to a doc sooner.
