Seek help: If there is an experienced Dr. "mom" or nurse, ask for advice. If you don't have anyone to help you decide whether to see a doctor, then you need to see a doctor. Urgent cares can be good for this problem if you have cash. The emergency room is an option if you don't

If you have no legal: written permission to seek medical care for the boy, Dad must call his pediatrician for instructIons. If legal custody is shared, mom must allow you make medical decisions for her son or take over his care herself. If the child is truly lethargic, take him to a hospital ER that can obtain legal permission to treat by 3-way phone call with Dad & a witness in order to provide urgent care.
