Possibly.: It depends on your eyes refractive error, especially if you have high astigmatism. Soft lenses have made a lot of progress in providing clear vision for patients with astigmatism. However, if you have very high astigmatism, generally rigid gas permeable (rgp) lenses provide clearer vision. If you have the corneal disease keratoconus, then rgp contacts are generally the only means of seeing clearly.
