That is the goal: No surgical procedure can guarantee results. Generally speaking, all musculoskeletal procedures have a goal of either improving function and/or decreasing pain. If the surgery goes as planned, if you avoid any post-op complications, and if the rehab goes as planned, you should experience an improvement in function.
