A member asked:

Can you suggest 2 or 3 topical antiinflammatory creams that are proven to help sprains, either in research or in your practice?

Topical treatments: There are several options but i always encourage use of compounded medications at a certified compounding pharmacy. These are generally less expensive and gives me much more flexibility regarding what my patient needs (nsaid vs. Steroid, numbing medicine, etc.). Ask you doctor for options.
