A member asked:

How much pain is a nasal biopsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not much: There are many structures in the nasal cavity. The septum in the midline and usually three turbinates situated in the lateral aspect of the inside of the nose. Depending on the location of the biopsy and the tissue being removed it is not very painful because it will be performed under local anesthesia. If the base is cauterized, you probably won't need more than otc medication.
