How much time should one spend doing moderate exercise daily?

Exercise time: I recommend to my patients to do 4-5------ 30--45 minute sessions per week. To get your heart rate to 80% maximum and to break out into a little sweat.

30 minutes: A total of 30 minutes (or more!) every day. It doesn't have to be done all at once. You can do a little bit here, a little bit there, as long as it adds up to the magic 30 by the end of your day. If you haven't been exercising regularly, start low and build up slowly so you're less likely to hurt yourself. Congrats on making great changes.
