Moderate, the best..: The evidence is that taking a brisk walk, generally about 4mph, 30-45 minutes more days per week than not (in other words, at least 4 out of seven) may be the healthiest habit you can get into. All my patients know about the three w's to develop as part of a lifestyle of healthy living: walk, weight, water.
