A member asked:

What is the recovery time from a bone transplant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on the type: This will depend on the type of transplant (own cells = autologous or donor cells = allogeneic), the age and physical condition of the patient and what complications, if any, developed. Roughly the recovery for an autologous transplant is 1-3 months and for an allogeneic transplant it is 3-12 months.
