Depends : On the lab, in the office overnight but you can get it back within hours if need be. Depends on what machine they are using for the testing.

Depends: The test itself can be done in less than one day. However the lab may not run the test everyday and there may be delays in transport of the specimen to the lab and in reporting the results. In general your doctor should get the results in 2-5 days.
