A few leukocytes OK: It depends on 1) your clinical symptoms -which have to be correlated with the lab findings and 2) how many leukocytes (WBCs) there were. Most labs allow up to 5 WBCs per field when looking at the urine under a microscope. Sometimes other things can cause WBCs to be there such as medications, kidney diseases that are not infections, or kidney/bladder stones. Hope that helps!
