See below: Osteoporosis chances are lower first of all with consistent weight bearing exercise. They has been recent discussion on the benefits of calcium and vitamin d but i still would rec 500 to 1, 000 mg of calcium and at least 400 iu of vitamin d and a manesium supplement. No smoking as smoking can increase bone loss. Stay up on DEXA scans so bone density can be followed more closely.
