Balance: Limit calcium intake to 500 mg daily if also eating well. Balance calcium with magnesium, and calcium:magnesium in 1:1 or 1:2 ratio is good. I prefer 1:2 ratio. Test vit d and replete to goal serum level of 60. Also test zinc and supplement if not in upper half of reference range. Consider boron, vanadium, and strontium in small doses. Limit alcohol. Exercise as tolerated.
