Unlikely: Palpitations have been described sensation of irregular heart beats, fluttering or flip flopping of the heart. They are common during pregnancy. They should be discussed with your doctor as testing such as an EKG or holter monitor may be needed to rule out other conditions. Some rare conditions which cause palpitations like thyrotoxicosis may contribute to miscarriage.
