A member asked:

How much solid foods should my 9 month old be eating at each meal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

He decides: Babies are good about knowing how much their tummies can hold. You need to tune into his cues as to when he is full: turns head away from spoon, spits the food out, refuses to open his mouth, etc. As long as he is sitting there wiling to eat, you can offer the food to him. As he eats more solids he will correspondingly drink less milk, generally maintaining the same number of calories in a day.
