OTC colds: This product contains zinc gluconate. It is of unproven benefit for colds, and should not be relieving congestion, although anything is possible in a given individual. This should in no way produce addiction, nor has addictive potential been complained of. You should be able to discontinue this without a problem. Try using a netti-pot or a nasal spray to relieve congestion.
