What causes non stop deep coughing, shortness of breath, chest congestion? i coughed for 45 minutes straight last night, causing lack of breath.

See your Dr.: Those symptoms make me think that you might have pneumonia. This is the time to go see a doctor and get checked. There are other causes as well but they are going to require physical exam. Go see your doctor. Now is the time.
