Spinal stenosis in your neck (cervical spine) can cause pain in the neck and shoulders. It may radiate down your arm/hand. Cervical spinal stenosis can also cause headaches, numbness or muscle weakness.

Yes: One of the most common causes of headaches that is frequently misdiagnosed as "migraines" are headaches arising from the upper cervical facet joints. These are very easy to treat. You should find a good interventional pain management physician trained in the evaluation of headaches including cervicogenic headaches. Disc problems and cervical spinal stenosis don't usually cause headaches.
