No: The liver is needed for life, to break down and remove certain drugs and chemicals that are not needed or are harmful to the body. The liver also does many other crucial duties, such as making proteins, blood clotting factors, bile, etc... All one can do is avoid damaging the liver, and the liver will keep itself as healthy as possible. One should eat healthy foods, but ignore "detox" gimmicks.
