TSH 0.5-3: Thyroid level recommendations are the same with or without a thyroidectomy and regardless of medications. The TSH should ideally be between 0.5-3.

Not normal: There are no "normal" values post-total thyroidectomy without medication. It is not a normal state and you need to take medication to be normal, as far as thyroid health is concerned.
