Ranges widely. : Prostatodynia literally means prostate pain. In modern clinical practice, it is a catch-all term that includes urinary symptoms, pelvic pain, & prostate symptoms that do not have an infectious or other clear cause. Perineal/ bladder/pelvic pain, frequent & painful urination, & pain with sex & ejaculation can occur. It is likely not just the prostate, but involves nerve, muscles & bladder as well.
