What are the different types of intestinal transplantation?

See below: Bowel transplants can be the small intestine alone or what is called a multivisceral transplant. Mvt's can include stomach, duodenum, pancreas and liver. Sometimes they are just stomach, duodenum and pancreas. There have been kidneys transplanted as part of a mvt. There was recently an esophagus transplanted as well.

SBTx: An intestine can be transplanted for short gut. If the liver has also failed, it is also included, usually as a multivisceral cluster including liver, pancreas, duodenum and small intestine (+\- the stomach). This operation is also indicated for liver transplant candidates with diffuse mesenteric thrombosis and for neuroendocrine tumors. Less often, a modified mvt without the liver appropriate.
