Yes: Breastfeeding when you are sick is usually recommended and can provide your infant with protective antibodies. There are some medications that your doctor may prescribe that are not safe for the infant if you are breastfeeding. Let your doctor know that you are nursing and they will either use a different medicine or tell you to "pump and dump" while on that medicine.
