Breast feeding : There are protective antibiotics in breast milk. There may be other reasons why the kids are sick, such as daycare. All the best.

No guarantees : Breast milk is designed for human infants and provides IgA antibodies that are never found in formula.IgA acts sort of like a lubricant that prevents germs from attaching to babies tissues to start an infection. While it reduces the number of infections it is not a guarantee. There are many other factors that lead to childhood infections. One undeniable fact; you can't be allergic to mothers milk.

Science is science: Depends on the study, but there is an overwhelming body of research on this subject. Here is an idea... Breastfeeding is more predominant in the US in affluent populations in which the mom might go back to work and put the child in daycare. So its the Daycare exposires which cause the child to catch frequent viruses, not the breastfeeding!
