It depends: Changing diet will not always have a large impact on triglycerides because some people have a genetic predisposition to high triglycerides. In most others, you can see the affects fairly quickly when you cut down on processed foods and foods rich in saturated and trans fats. Be patient and stay on course. It's a marathon not a sprint.
