Compression stocking: The bet way to proceed is to have your legs raised at the end of the bed when you go to bed. Before you get out of bed in the morning put on your compression stockings and you legs won't swell. One problem - best to have shower etc. before you go to bed, not when you get up. If that is a problem try and find time to sit with your legs up fro about 10 minutes after your shower in the morning.
