Side effetcs specific to NovoLog include pitting or thickening of skin at the injection site, skin reaction at injection site and low blood sugar, and low potassium levels (especially when given intravenously). Also, always report any allergic reactions to your doctor such as hives, rash, swelling of the mouth/throat (go to ed) and itching.
