However, other effective non-invasive technologies for fat cell elimination that are fda-approved include liposonix and coolsculpting.

Focused ultrasound: Ultrashape is a "high-intensity focused ultrasound" (hifu) machine. It is a competitor to liposonix. Both use ultrasound energy to heat the subcutaneous fat. It's available in europe, but is not fda approved yet.
