Does anyone know if ultrashape contouring is real or not?

Perhaps: Ultrashape is an emerging treatment that used focused ultrasound to melt fat cells. Ultra shape has not been approved by the fda yet and thus is not available in the us. So, although it has promise there is no one with significant experience in the us. However, other effective non-invasive technologies for fat cell elimination that are fda-approved include liposonix and coolsculpting.

Jury is out: There is a flood of new devices, technologies, techniques and all sorts of brand names that purport to remove fat without downtime, surgery, bruising, etc. The simple fact is that none of them come close to the results you can get with traditional liposuction. For fat limited to a small area, some of these techniques might work for you. If you want true sculpting see an experienced plastic surgeon.

Yes: The data published in peer-reviewed journals shows that the high-intensity focused ultrasound technology used in both ultrashape and liposonix does indeed work.

UltraShape Contour: UltraShape uses external ultrasound to injure, or "melt", fat cells. It is relatively painless and has modest results in reported studies with most patients satisfied.
