A member asked:

I have mono and have a needle pain when i swallow. am i fine or should i see a doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sore throat: Very common to have sore throat with mono. I am assuming you already saw the doctor to get the diagnosis of mono, no need to go back only for this symptom, unless you are vomiting, drooling, having difficutly breathing, getting dehydrated. Drink lots of fluids, ibuprofen for pain.
