Doubtful: The cancer cell type will determine some issues of familial risk, but the 2 most common cell types causing appendiceal cancer are not familial types

In 2017 I was diagnosed with rare appendix cancer. That same year an oncological surgeon specializing in this cancer performed HIPEC with debulking. Is a CT scan with contrast better than an MRI for detecting other cancers that might crop up?
