Highly doubtful: but not known. I'm guessing (?) you are referring to what's called "endometrial ablation," the reason is it "burns" the endometrium. It is definitely NOT intended or tested for "burning" adenomyosis, which is in the uterine muscle. Might work, might not, but I doubt it. Question: one 17 mm focus is unlikely to cause significant problems in a 50 y.o. - why do you need to treat it? Good wishes.
