Taken tramadol 50mg around half an hour/hour ago and still experiencing a lot on pain in right ankle traveling up my leg. have ankle injury which not had mri results, what other pain relief could help?

Pain rx: For an acute injury, elevate ankle, apply ice for 20-30 min evety 1-2 hr while awake, and add an NSAID. If ibuprofen available,b take 600 mg every 4 hr. If naprosyn (naproxen) available otc, take 220 mg every 8 hours. Then try your best to stay off your foot.

Can try ice: As far as pain control any rx would have to be written by your doctor.
