Inflammation likely: Likely inflammation- which is way more common than cancer. Having said that, it is hard to say more without a good examination. You should go to see your primary care doctor to discuss in detail and have a proper evaluation

Tender nodes more: Likely infectious or reactive than cancer, but nodes that do ot go away need to be checked and possibly biopsied.
