Regular nipple is ok: Normal healthy babies can use a regular nipple on a standard bottle, easily found in any store. Regular nipples have worked fine for decades. If a baby is having trouble with the milk-flow from a standard nipple, other nipples can be tried. Also, if a baby seems to be swallowing too much air while feeding, other nipples may be tried.

Depends: All depends on your baby and what they like. You may need to try a couple different nipples, including a slow flow one for newborns, to see what works the best. As for bottles, make sure they are made of bpa free plastic. Buy one of a few different kinds and experiment.

Variable: Every baby prefers something different. You may just have to try various combos to see what works best for your baby.
