Dont smoke breathe ok unless esp active. found note /w my er chest xray "chronic fibrosis." looked up, 5-7 years left (or even triple) sounds wrong??

Maybe?: It is not clear if there is a study to compare with to say chronic. Also keep in mind that not all "fibrosis " is from smoking. Therefore, talk to your doctor to follow up that X-ray with a more recent one or a high resolution CT. That should put the question to rest.
