Unfortunately little: At various times, thought perhaps a calcium channel blocker might curtail the vasospasm associated with blood in the subarachnoid space, and prevent the additional onset of a stroke, but quite clear years ago, that effect was minimal at best. Do not really see it used in acute bleeding anymore, as outcomes were disappointing.
