A member asked:

I got diagnosed of having pinguecula and trying so desperately to get natural treatment. . although i have seen my ophthalmologist still need more?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Why bother: Pingueculae are a normal fatty/elastic tissue which the eye in middle years makes to protect itself. They do not need treatment and, for instance, if they were surgically removed, they will grow back as the eye "wants" them to exist. The only natural way to get rid of them is to stay in a dark, dustless, windless, relatively moist room 24 hours per day and they will gradually fade.
