Have shoulder pain all day. right arm is like numbed. not stiff shoulder, but pain. eventually took medicine. what's the cause? no lifting heavy stuff

Variable causes: Shoulder pain in female your age w/o obvious precipating event could be related to slight underlying instability, especially if other joints demonstrate greater than normal mobility/laxity. This is diagnosed mainly by clinical exam with otherwise normal x-rays/MRI. Mainstay of treatment is physical therapy to optimize strength of muscles around shoulder/shoulder blade (scapula).
