A member asked:

Drinking alcohol after root canal therapy causes pain or problem in my tooth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Is this ?Or answer: If you are drinking alcohol after root canal treatment and are taking any pain meds you should NOT be drinking alcohol because it may accentuate the effects of the pain pills. If dr had to drain or treat any bubble you may have had on the side of your gums it could sting. So there is usually no pain or problem to the tooth itself from having a drink
