Is it okay to drink alcohol after root canal therapy?

Alcohol: Having a root canal is not a problem with drinking alcohol. If you are taking medication , that could have an effect but not the root canal itself.

Yes, but...: Yes, you can. However, if you are taking certain medications, the alcohol may interact with those. The root canal by itself is not a contraindication to drinking.

Usually: Typically a temporary is placed over the area and a drink of alcohol would usually be okay.
