Hope this helps: Depending on the rythm the heart rate can have more issues than others. If you are on fentanyl I would make the assumption you have pain. If such is the case then you probably have Sinus Tachycardia. Normal response heart rate. If not, and your rythm is Atrial Fibrillation for example with a CHADS2 score >2 you might need anticoagulation. So it depends on the picture if the HR is "dangerous" or no
