No: this medication is a synthetic Thyroid hormone which you need to survive. The levels should be monitored and adjusted by a doctor. It should not increase your Breast cancer risk. The replacement hormones people use for hot flushes (estrogen/progesterone) during and after menopause do cause increased risk.
