3T is great for MRA: MRA is done in a MR scanner with the administration of IV contrast. One of the advantages of a 3 Tesla magnet is greater signal which is very helpful for MRA studies. If you have equal options, I would choose the 3T magnet, but you would still have a good diagnostic study with 1.5 Tesla which is still a standard at many facilities.
