Referred pain from: shoulder if its the one that you had surgery on. Other things that cause left arm pain are Parsonage Turner syndrome (inflammation of brachial plexus) Ulnar neuropathy, cervical radiculopathy, angina, and pleuritic pain (usually there are other symptoms to go along with the arm pain with the latter two) Have it looked at.
