Nerve: A frequent cause is radiation of discomfort down the arm from nerve impingement from a disc in the neck or arthritic spur from a vertebra in the neck. If symptoms persist or worsen, I feel a neurologist or orthopedic specialist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you. Neck xrays and/ or an mri May be ordered. In the meantime,if you can take them, nsaids like Advil or aleve along with TYLENOL (acetaminophen)
