Bruise: Do you have a history of frequent "random bruises"? If so, the muscle soreness may not be related. The shooting pains are characteristic of nerve irritability. In view of all these symptoms, it would be advisable to be examined by a physician. Frequent appearance of random bruises calls for certain blood tests unless aspirin or nsaids like Aleve are responsible.
