When i move my neck back left within an arc, i feel a sore nerve or muscle behind my left shoulder blade and down my left arm. i can't feel it much w/out my neck in the right position, but the muscle or nerve is already in sharp pain and sensitive?

This suggests a nerve impingement from a spur or bulging intervertebral disc in the the lower neck or upper thoracic spine. An MRI would demonstrate this radiculopathy. Anti-inflammatory meds, soft cervical collar, physical therapy with traction, epidural corticosteroid injections are some treatment options. A neurologist is best to consult.
