Uncertain; need Bx.: There are benign and malignant possibilities; benign adenoma, adenocarcinoma and more rare malignancy, such as carcinoid cancer, are possibilities; need a tissue diagnosis to be sure.

R.O malignancy: A number of different lesions develop within the bowel including the region of the cecum in close proximity to the appendix. When lesion "non defined" seen both on colonoscopy and by CT scan, a histologic dx needed. Lesion may range from adenoma, to malignant polyp to adenocarcinoma to GIST to carcinoid and probably requires resection even if AP based, Bowel lesions rarely left untreated.
