Opioids: Naproxen is an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), so it should not be taken with other NSAIDs. Although acetaminophen is not an NSAID, it's unlikely to give any extra pain relief. Opiod are safe and additive in analgesia when taken with NSAIDS, but of course have their own cautions, and are available only by prescription.
